Maloney of West Simsbury, Connecticut, has joined the firm as an attorney in its new Hartford office. Ms. Maloney’s practice will focus on the defense of general liability claims, including premises liability claims and construction site injury claims. She previously served as a senior litigation associate at Tucker, Heifetz & Saltzman, LLP in Boston and as a litigation associate at Smith & Duggan, LLP of Boston.
Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Maloney served as a law clerk to the Justices of the Superior Court of Massachusetts. She also clerked for Roche, Heifetz, Murphy & Wholley of Boston and interned for Magistrate Judge Robert B. Collings, United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
Ms. Maloney earned her law degree from the New England School of Law in Boston after earning her bachelor’s degree from Trinity College in Hartford. While at New England School of Law, Ms. Maloney served as an executive editor of the New England Law Review.
